Meet the Team

  • Dr.
    Gurpreet Singh
    Dr. Gurpreet Singh - Dr. Gurpreet Singh is one of the Associate Veterinarians at Bear Creek Veterinary Hospital. He studied veterinary medicine and graduated from Punjab Agricultural University, India. He has been practicing in Stockton since 1999 and is a member of the CVMA, AVMA, and NSJVMA. His special interests include small animal soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, as well as internal medicine. He has been married to his beautiful wife for 18 years and they have three brilliant children. He also has a very protective German shepherd named Renee. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors, being a father, running, and gardening. When he gets a chance, Dr. Singh takes off to Lake Tahoe with his family to enjoy a weekend of kayaking and paddle boarding. Dr. Singh takes great pride in what he does and looks forward to meeting you and helping your four legged family members.

    Bethany Jackson
    Dr. Bethany Jackson is a board certified veterinary cardiologist. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a rotating internship at The Animal Medical Center in New York City, followed by a cardiology internship and residency at MedVet Medical and Cancer Centers for Pets in Worthington, OH. She is board certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in the sub-specialty of Cardiology.Dr. Jackson's interest in cardiology stemmed from experience with her own dog being under the care of a veterinary cardiologist. She saw first hand how access to specialty consultation can help to further patient care. Her goal is to provide timely, accurate, and detailed cardiology consultations to allow accurate diagnosis and treatment of cardiac disease in pets so they can live long, fulfilling lives.

    Connie Hung
    Dr. Connie Hung is associate veterinarian at Bear Creek Veterinary team. She was born in Hong Kong, and grew up in San Francisco, California. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from prestigious University of California, Davis with a focus in small animal medicine. Her special interests include small animal surgery, internal medicine, and behavior. In her free time, Dr. Hung enjoys staying active, whether it is hiking, a night at the gym, snowboarding, or biking with her Labrador-Terrier mix, Waffle. She also has two cats named Jello and Butter. Knowing how pets touch our hearts in special ways, she looks forward to meeting and helping your family.

  • Marla Soun

    Marla began volunteering as a student from Carrington College. It was an instant connection with the Bear Creek team and she's never looked back. She has a beautiful daughter named Audrey who keeps her on her toes and a small Manx of a cat named Olivia. Marla's love for animals and compassionate nature truly shine through in every aspect. She is an amazing mother not only to her own but to all the furbabies seen at Bear Creek.



  • Eunice Colon

    Eunice met the Bear Creek team as a volunteer and loved the family atmosphere so much, she never left. She graduated from Carrington College, obtained her RVT license and officially joined the Bear Creek family in 2012. She has a princess of chihuahua named Penny and a senior pitbull named Smokey. She is fluent in Spanish and enjoys helping others care for their pets in need. 



  • Thalia Braxton

    Thalia has been part of the Bear Creek team since 2010! She is a talented groomer who excels in caring for the furbabies during their 'spa days.' She has been in the animal grooming field since 2000 and continues to hone her skill. When she's not busy pampering pooches, she has her son, Jalen, and daughter, Janica, keeping her busy. 

  • Meghan W.

    Meghan joined the Bear Creek Family in 2016. After leaving the military, she decided to pursue a career that would benefit from her love of animals. Her passion for their well-being brought her to Carrington College where she obtained an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology. Today she enjoys spending her spare time with her service dog/horse (weighing in at 140 lbs and still growing), Cerberus, and two geriatric felines, Pandora and Anubis. We greatly appreciate her service to our country and to the continuing healthcare of our animal companions. 

  • Giuliana Caporali

    Giuli graduated from Consumnes Communuty College in 2017 and obtained her RVT license in 2018. She has a full house at home consisting of 3 dogs, Iris, Mia and Scarlett, and 5 cats, Beatrice, Charlie, Edith, Edmund and Genevieve. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her furbabies and scrapbooking their memories. Her gentle spirit is a comfort to all animals and pet parents alike. 

  • Rosemary T.

    Rosemary's passion for animals has been with her since she was a small child. She is currently attending Carrington College to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. In her spare time she enjoys being with her own furbabies, reading and spending time with her friends and family.
